Deepika Padukone Summoned By NCB In Drug Probe; Mumbai Police Asked To Deploy Additional Security During Her Visit To Office Tomorrow - Reports
According to the latest update, Times Now reported that Mumbai Police has been asked to deploy additional security during Deepika Padukone's visit to NCB office tomorrow
Amidst Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is also investigating a drug angle in the case which then led to some massive revelations. After Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested by NCB for their involvement in drugs, some A-listers' names also came into the spotlight, leaving everyone shocked. Amongst many, Deepika Padukone's name also emerged in this drug nexus and reportedly, Padukone was summoned by NCB on September 25 for questioning. Now, according to the latest update in the case, Times Now reported that Mumbai Police has been asked to install additional security for Deepika Padukone when she will visit the NCB office tomorrow for her statement.
"Mumbai Police asked to deploy additional security ahead of Deepika Padukone's visit to NCB office tomorrow to give her statement," a source told Times Now. Reportedly, the Padmaavat actress who is in Goa shooting for her next film of Shakun Batra along with Ananya Pandya and Siddhant Chaturvedi will mostly land today afternoon by a chartered flight to appear before the NCB officials tomorrow. On the other hand, designer Simone Khambatta whose name also emerged on the web has arrived for questioning at the NCB office today. Meanwhile, Rakul Preet is reportedly expected to appear before the NCB tomorrow.
Other than these people mentioned above, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan's name also surfaced in the drug probe. Both the actresses will reportedly be questioned on 26th September.
